Fraud
Job offers that cost you to start
A real job pays you. An offer that needs your money first doesn't fit any honest pattern.
What the request looks like
- Registration or activation fees before any work
- Training you must buy from the person offering the job
- Equipment or kits purchased from them
- Deposits to unlock tasks or withdraw earnings
- Forwarding money through your account, which can involve you in a crime
Earlier signs
Messages you didn't ask for, unusually high pay for simple tasks, contact only through private chat apps and pressure to decide today.
What to do
Don't pay or forward anything. Stop replying and report the account. If you've already paid, call your bank straight away and report it to the police or your country's fraud reporting service.
